David - has been working head over heels at 2 crazy jobs keeping him happy and insane and perfectly loving every second of it.... PLUS he was able to score an amazing anniversary dinner at craft in Dallas where we sat for a wine pairing meal with Top Chef hot man chef Tom Colicchio there to create the meal and walk us through it... then this morning David made me breakfast in bed for no reason expect he is wonderful... egg white omelette with portabella mushrooms & peppers, some turkey bacon, toast with jelly and apple juice.... amazing... now we are preparing for a wonderful family weekend
Faith - has been soaring at swim lessons and even trying to push herself to be more and more and more independent. We are amazed at her language skills and she is constantly amazing us with her stories and her daily recollections of what we did and said and where we were.Plus she was just featured in the Plano Profile page 24 for her participation in the Race for the Cure... what a star
Yesterday we saw Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at Fair Park Music Hall with Grandma and Faith sat through the entire show completely mesmerized. Not that I was surprised since she seems to favor the arts (wonder where she got that from) but she loved the dancing and the flying car. Right before the show started she was running through the lobby saying "Chitty Chitty here I come Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" it was adorable. Then we met Grandpa and Daddy at Screen Door in Dallas where a good family friend, Mr.Rick Stein is now the General Manager. The food by Chef Fitzgerald Dodd was amazing and the MoonPie Dessert was simply to die for. Faith was a fan of the macaroni and cheese and my amazing chicken which she kept stealing off my plate.
Me - well I am simply trying to keep up with everyone. We leave for OBX on the 26th and I have lots to do. First, I need to finally change my cell phone to a local number (look for the e-mail update! ) and we need to order Faith's school uniforms - isn't that adorable, I will for sure post pictures, then we have to finish swim lessons, get out our birthday thank you's, register Miss Faith for dance lessons in the fall, and catch up on my scrapbook, schedule the painters to pain the 'Man Cave' aka Media room, get the McNamara Boys their birthday presents and 'we miss you' gifts in the mail and yikes!.... woah - that is a lot. PLUS_ I owe all of you house and life picture updates.... really I know!
