routine

So this week was a bit of a jump start into what our new routine will be come January. Just me and the kids... all 4 of them, every day, doing our thing.

i loved it.

Sure i have the GREATEST hubby in the whole world who made each day start of perfectly AND end perfectly
{{{ thank you , thank you , thank you }}}

there was a lot of :

running here, or there
loading and unloading
packing snacks, lunches or planning dinner
several loads of laundry, bottles and more
a couple of oops
a few time outs
a bath for everyone & a few were lucky to get several
lots of diaper changes
FRESH cut veggies to snack on
several Christmas packages to hide
Ornament night festivities at school

and we did it

we survived, i survived, they survived, we survived. in fact we did more than just survive, we had fun.

it is a lot. and i don't want to 'minimize' our crazy schedule, but i love, just love doing my mommy duties. these are the things I am excited and grateful for. taking my kids to school, taking them to their activities and simply being a part of what they do, who they are and what makes them happy. i love our time in the car, singing, laughing, even fighting... its just moments and memories that are forever special to me. there will come a day when they don't want me there, standing at the window watching them dance or play, and there will be the day they no longer want me picking them up from school. so for now, i am fully embracing the best part of being a mom ... being there.

Very well put! You are so right, being a Mom is such a privilege (even on the fighting, screaming, time-out days). Your positive attitude is contagious! Thanks for sharing it! :)
